To the Staff at the Academy at Ivy Ridge: Thank you so much for the time you are spending with our son and for the commitment you show in helping him get through the program.
We would especially like to thank our family rep, Tom Douglas, for his commitment. This can be a thankless job sometimes because the children and the parents don’t always show their appreciation. We are very appreciative and thank you for being honest and not giving up on Mike.
To Miss Heidi, we would like to thank her for helping us to work out our issues. She has helped tremendously to make us feel comfortable with the facility and with the family that Mike has chosen. She's a wonderful, caring person and makes us feel supported. We would like to show our appreciation of the Dorm Dads for their strength, patience and commitment.; Even though we don't have contact with them, we know they are working hard to help Mike through the program.
Overall, we are very thankful to the program. When we thought there was nowhere else to turn, fate brought us to the school. We're not sure where we would be right now, if it wasn't for the school. We don't even want to think about that. We'll rather think about where we will be because of the school.
