 Red River believes that education is an essential part of any change. Getting your child to invest their efforts into education and character development can often times, be very trying. Red River Academy uses their experience to provide an environment where your child can re-focus on education and their growth toward adulthood.
Red River is ideally located a stones throw from the Red River which weaves through Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Just a short drive from Houston and Dallas, the Academy is located in a rural environment well suited to remove the distractions that keep many adolescents from putting their education and growth back on an appropriate path. The schools location in the small farming community of Lecompte Louisiana, and pleasant climate of the area, gives students an opportunity to take advantage of the outdoor activities many teens never take the opportunity to be exposed to.
Red River uses a progressive, competency based curriculum which allows student to excel while ensuring the knowledge base necessary for student to develop and continue their education. Teachers work with students to help education become meaningful and integral to your students life. Meanwhile, school support staff assist with the character development program and coach your child about school standards, responsibilities, and positive citizenship. Students will have opportunities outside of the classroom and school to get involved with service projects which help make the community an even better place to live. The school's campus provides a safe, warm, and distraction-free environment for students with ample outdoor spaces for students to exercise and play games, while interior spaces such as the library give student a variety of positive activities.
Parents and other members of the students families are involved throughout the students placement. Parents can take advantage of personal and family oriented workshops so that when the student returns home the family feels united and included in the progress the child has made. Red River Academy understands the responsibility that parents entrust us with when they enroll their child in our school. Our goal is to make the extra-effort to exceed those expectations.
Warranty Red River Residential Specialty Boarding School offers an exclusive "Warranty". All students who have successfully completed all "Character Building" courses including "Leadership Training" at this facility may be re-admitted to the school for up to 60 days of free tuition, if he or she does not show satisfactory academic progress or character development before the age of 18.
Seminars The Residential Specialty Boarding Schools we represent provide a series of highly effective “Educational Seminars and Workshops” specifically designed to teach character building. During these Seminars, teens learn about key character-building qualities such as:

- Honesty
- Integrity
- Trust
- Proper Choices
- Responsibility
- Self-Esteem
While the student is completing his or her series of seminars, the parents are invited to attend "Parent Seminars" and "Parent Support Meetings" held in many locations throughout the United States . The highlight of the seminars is when parents and students are invited to attend three effective "Parent/Child Workshops". These are designed to assist each family in improving communications and strengthening relationships.
